help meet: mountain top meaning

“And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said:
“This is now bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”
Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” Gen 2:18-24
I wanted to investigate the mountain top meaning of the word helper in Hebrew, so that I can better understand what the Lord had in mind when He gave a helper to man.

The Hebrew word used here for helper is Strong's H5828, ezer, which is not the primitive root. The primitive root is Strong's H5826, azar, rzu, an ayin - zayin - resh. The ancient pictographs and meanings are: ayin, the eye, so to see, look, or understand; zayin, the mattock, representative of tools, so to cut, or even to nourish (because the mattock is the tool used to provide food for the family). The final letter is the resh, the head of a man.

The pictographs seems to be saying, one who sees what cuts the head. The one who cuts the head (who attacks) is the enemy. The help meet sees the enemy. The one who helps, who is the friend or the ally, is the one who sees who the enemy is, where the enemy is, what the enemy is doing, or who sees what hurts.

Not just any woman can do this for any man. But the woman the man takes as his help meet, comes uniquely gifted by God with this ability. Often when the wife warns her husband about something, he ignores her. He doesn't see the same thing she does. If he did, he would not need a helper!

The meaning of this word comes from Dr. Frank Seekins' website, Living Word Pictures. I am still learning, and resources like these help me to go back to the ancient roots that even five- year- olds are able to understand!
